TrES-2b are a solo project from Brazil that plays a mixture of dark ambient, drone, experimental and blackened noise and this is a review of his self released 2017 demo "GSC 03549-02811".
Ambient style drones and soundscapes start off the demo and the track is 26 minutes in length while all of the music is mostly instrumental as well as having its experimental and avant garde moments and as the songs progresses elements of death industrial, harsh noise and black metal can be heard along with a brief use of tortured screams.
TrES-2b plays a musical style that is mostly rooted in dark ambient, experimental, and drone while also mixing in elements of death industrial, black metal and noise to create something very different and the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion TrES-2b are a very great sounding mixture of dark ambient, drone, experimental and blackened noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. 8 out of 10.
